The Big Bike Film Night

May 9, 2016

BBFN

An event that started in 2014 as a fundraiser to repair Taupo’s “Big Bike” sculpture, The Big Bike Film Night is moving around the country this year and Auckland gets it’s turn on Tues 24 May & Thurs 26 May.

Both screenings start at 8.00pm, Academy Cinema (Under the Central Library, 44 Lorne Street)

The award winning collection has stories that move us, stories that make us think, and most importantly of all- stories that inspire us to get on our bike. Showcasing everything a bike centric audience could want- action, drama, plenty of humor and even a hint of romance, making you want to fall in love with your bike all over again.

So good to see bike-culture downunder maturing to this extent. Bike Paths, Bike Raves, Open Streets, Sky Path, Light Path and now a mini Bike Film Festival, it’s all happening.

Get yourself along and hang with fellow bike-tragics, sure to be a good night!
