What’s better than a free espresso for riding your bike to work? Free breakfast, that’s what!

The annual Go by Bike Breakfasts are great fun and a reminder that you’re not the only one out there bike-commuting. If you’ve never ridden your bike to work this is the day to pluck up the courage and do it, that’s how I got started. For whatever reason (seems silly now) I felt uncomfortable about riding my bike to the studio and it took the lure of a free meal to break the car habit. It’s changing your established routine that’s the hard part, once you get going you’ll never look back!

So dust off your old steed, break-out the backpack and get in to it. If you’re out of practise allow enough time for a leisurely ride so you don’t get all hot and bothered. It’s easy, you’ll have a great time.

Here’s the official blurb:

Bike to work and celebrate with fellow cyclists from across Auckland with a delicious breakfast and fabulous entertainment at a venue near your workplace.

This is your opportunity to join fellow cyclists and celebrate all things cycling. These events are attracting more people every year, from those who cycle every day to those who enjoy a ride once in a while. Registration is not required for these events.
